Before finding design, dance was how I made sense of the world. It was my first language for storytelling, movement and expression. I spent 6 years in competitive dance, then switched to train at a performing arts high school, performing and choreographing for audiences. After a decade in the studio, I carry that discipline and creativity into everything I do today.
Now I get to keep that spark alive with Graffiti Dancers at Northwestern, choreographing, performing, and sharing the stage with some of the most brilliant, fun people I know. Check out some of my favorite work below ↓
a song for you
This piece was my first time choreographing since high school, but something I had always envisioned. I am so grateful for Graffiti and my wonderful cast for having trust in me throughout the process — I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
the greatest
I choreographed this piece with one of my close friends, Emily! We met on the first week during Wildcat Welcome and auditioned together for Graffiti. This past winter, we decided to choreograph a piece together.
